Mr. Wilbert Lee Gilbert, 78, of Raleigh, NC departed this earthly life on Wednesday June 19, 2019.

Funeral service at 12:00 noon Monday June 24, 2019 at Poplar Springs Christian Church, 6115 Old Stage Road, Raleigh, NC preceded by an 11:30 AM visitation. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery. Viewing from 2:00 - 8:00 PM Sunday June 23, 2019 at Haywood Funeral Home.

Survivors: brothers, Jerry Gilbert and Tracy Gilbert (Beverly); sisters, Doris Alford, Mary G. Smith, Patty Smith, Bettye Christmas, Brenda G. Davis and Caren McKoy (Ron).
