Wesley Coleman Alston

Mr. Wesley Coleman Alston, 70, of Garner, NC departed this earthly life on Thursday March 4, 2021.  His Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 12, 2021 in the C A Haywood, Sr. Memorial Chapel, 2415 South Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC.  A "walk through viewing" is scheduled from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Thursday March 11, 2021 at the Funeral Home.  

Wesley leaves to share precious memories and celebrate his home going; his wife of 42 years, Sally M. Alston; daughters, Monique S. Johnson of Garner, Bernice M. Alston of Holly Springs; son, Kevin Phillips of Apex; grandchildren: Gregory Garris, Jaylen Johnson and Nyla Johnson, all of Garner; brother, William Alston, Jr. of Raleigh; aunt, Dorothy Hinton of Raleigh; special sister, Marietta Stancil “Reesee” of Clayton and special niece, Katrina Brown of Texas; brothers- and sisters-in-law, George and Shelia Thompson, Douglas and Janice Goodson, and Jonathan and Frances Knowles, all of Raleigh; other sisters- and brother-in-law, Gladys Goodson and Mildred Hunter, both of Rocky Mount, Janet Robinson of Williamsville, NY, Reverend Charles Goodson, and Sandra Goodson, both of Raleigh; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.      

***Please Note:  We are requesting that all in attendance wear a face covering or mask for the viewing and service. Also know that 6 feet of social distancing is expected.  We are limited to accept a total of 50 individuals per the State guidelines for any indoor services due to the COVID-19 Pandemic! ....
