Walter Davis Jr, 78 passed away unexpectedly on November 13, 2023. Even though he was taken from this world, his loving heart left a beacon of light for all his family and friends.

Walter is survived by his loving wife Linda Davis. He was the father of  14 children; over 30 grandchildren; over 40 great grandchildren: 1 stepdaughter, and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service  will be held Monday, November 20th at 1:00 pm at Haywood Funeral Home, preceded by a 12:30 am viewing and visitation. There is no public viewing on Sunday. 

Interment will follow the service at Mount Hope Cemetery at 120 Prospect Ave Raleigh NC immediately after service. The family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers.
