Ronald Eugene Morgan, the youngest son of Joseph Morgan, Jr. and Mary Morgan, was born on December 10, 1964. Ron, as he was affectionately known by family and friends, departed this life and took his flight to get his reward on January 9, 2021.
During his early years, Ron was a member of the Pentecostal United Holy Church of America. Later in his adult life, he was affiliated with World Overcomers. Ron was a graduate of Garner High School, where he received recognition for his drawing. Ron was formerly employed by the N.C. Department of Revenue as a supervisor. At the time of his demise, Ron was employed with Wake County Public School System, serving as a Processing Technician in the Purchasing Department.
Ron became a mentor and foster parent to many. He was also an Instructional Assistant Teacher for special needs children. His talents also included Modeling and Martial Arts. As he aspired in the music industry, he gave birth to his most beloved company, Morgan Entertainment.
Ronald was a tall, gentle, soft-spoken, even-tempered giant full of kindness who loved his family. Ron leaves to cherish his memory; his loving wife, Deidre Brown Morgan, their four children: Todd Porter II, Tia Morgan Powell (Anthony), Dana Morgan, and Joseph Matthew Morgan; his parents, Mary and Joseph Morgan Jr.; one brother, Christopher Morgan; one sister, Da’ Meta Morgan (Dwight); brother-in-law, Vincent Brown (Karleen); sister-in-law, Robin
West; four nieces: Deidre Chanel Morgan, Whitney Myers (Jermaine), Ami, and Jennifer; four nephews, Ryan Bumpass (Chonda), Dre, Kimani, and Quentin Morgan; Ron also leaves a host of other relatives and dear friends.
***The family will have a private funeral service; however, a public "walk through viewing" is scheduled from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home on Wednesday January 20, 2021.
