Maylonnie Alayzia Downey, 17, departed this earthly life on Friday January 26, 2024. Funeral service at 1:00 PM Saturday February 3, 2024 at the C.A. Haywood, Sr. Memorial Chapel preceded by a 12:00 noon visitation. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. Public Viewing on Friday February 2, 2024 from 2:00 PM -5:00 PM at Haywood Funeral Home.

Survivors: Father Joey Downey of Sanford, NC; Mother Leigh Downey of Raleigh, NC.
