Luther "Nate" Green

Luther "Nate" Green, 64, of Clayton, NC departed this earthly existence on Friday November 21, 2025  Funeral service at 12:30 PM Tuesday November 25, 2025 at Good Samaritan Baptist Church, 9433 White Oak Road preceded by a 12:00 noon visitation.  A public viewing is scheduled for Monday November 24, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Haywood Funeral Home, 2415 South Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC 27603.  Interment will follow the service at the Good Samaritan Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Luther is survived by his wife Reba Green, daughters; Darlene Engleton (Elvis), Patricia Hill, and Barbara Mitchell of Virginia; son, James Walker (Cheryl), grandsons; David Mitchell of Maryland, Darren Brame (Kendal), and Andreas Engleton; brothers, Johnny Green and Stanley Green, a sister Brenda Wells; granddaughters, Tia Peebles, Carleen Howard (John), and Sade Walker; great grandchildren, Aliyana, Ashlyn, Autumn, Aubrey, Tra'vion Mack, Bryson, Braylen, and Bradlee Howard.
