Mr. Leonard Nelson "Butch" Avery, 70, departed this earthly life on Sunday January 7, 2024. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday January 19, 2024 at Haywood Funeral Home, 2415 South Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC 27603. A visitation will begin at 12:30 PM prior to the service. The public viewing is scheduled for Thursday January 18, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Haywood Funeral Home. A private interment will take place at a later date.
