Lenita A. Wright

Mrs. Lenita A. Wright, daughter William A. Currie and Lephenia M. Currie, was born September 23, 1967 in Durham, NC.  She departed this life after an extended illness, January 14, 2020 at Transitions LifeCare of Raleigh, NC.

Lenita was preceded in death by her parents, William Currie and Lephenia Currie, and sister, Deborah Gordon.

Lenita leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 26 years, C. Wesley Wright; daughter, K. Rene' McKoy; grandson, Caleb McKoy; brothers, Robert Currie (Gloria) of Raleigh, NC, Cleveland Currie (Cynthia) of Chapel Hill, NC; sisters, Teresa White of Clayton, NC, and Melinda Harkley of Raleigh, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.

Funeral service at 11:00 AM Sunday, January 19, 2020 at the C.A. Haywood, Sr. Memorial Chapel, 2415 S. Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC preceded by a 10:30 AM visitation.  Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery, 504 S. Smith Street, Clayton, NC.  Viewing from 2:00 - 8:00 PM Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Haywood Funeral Home.
