Effie Laverne Alston Leathers originally from Raleigh, NC, departed this earthly life on Thursday, April 6 2023 in Jonesboro, (Atlanta) Georgia.  Her funeral service will be held Thursday April 20, 2023 at 12:00 PM, at New Bethel Christian Church, 4307 Old Poole Road, Raleigh, NC 27610.  The final resting place will be at Carolina Biblical Gardens, 1530 Creech Road, Garner, NC, 27529.
