Kay Frances Simuel Lucas, 78, of Garner, NC departed this earthly existence on Sunday June 15, 2025.  Funeral service 2:00 PM Monday June 23, 2025 at the C A Haywood, Sr. Memorial Chapel, 2415 South Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC 27603. Visitation precedes the service in the chapel at 1:30 PM.  Interment will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery following the service at 120 Prospect Ave., Raleigh, NC, 27601.  Public viewing  on Sunday June 22 at Haywood Funeral Home from 2:00 - 8:00 PM.  The family will be present between the hours of 2:00 - 4:00 PM.  The family will also receive visitors at 104 Westonridge Run, Garner, NC 27529.

Her survivors include Nancy Simuel (sister) Milwaukee, WI, James Simuel (brother) Durham, NC, Irma Moore (sister) Knightdale, NC, Beatrice Todd (sister) Raleigh, NC, Linda Simuel (sister) Lumberton, NC, Pearlie Johnson (sister) Raleigh, NC, Tige Simuel (son) Raleigh, NC, Dontez Simuel (son) Tabor, NC, and Chrystal Lucas (daughter) Garner, NC
