Newkirk, Sr., age 70, of Clayton, NC departed this earthly life on Monday June 15, 2026.  Funeral service 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at White Oak Missionary Baptist Church, 1621 White Oak Church Road, Apex, NC 27523.  Public viewing Monday June 22, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Haywood Funeral Home, 2415 South Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC 27603.  Interment follows the service at Montlawn Memorial Park, 2911 South Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC 27603.
