Joel Hamlin, 57, of Garner, NC departed this earthly existence on Wednesday May 28, 2025.  Funeral service at 11:00 AM Friday June 6, 2025 at the C.A. Haywood, Sr. Memorial Chapel preceded by a 10:30 AM visitation.  Interment will follow the service at Carolina Biblical Gardens.

Survivors: Wife Jamese Brown-Hamlin of the home; Sister Yolanda Hamlin-Matthews (Delma) of Zebulon, NC; Daughters Candace Hamlin, Teaira Hinton, Diamond Hamlin, Shaina Brown-Twine( William) all of Raleigh, NC., Britney Matthews( Esla), Winston Salem, NC , Angela Brown-Cooke (John), Selma, NC; Sons Julius Hinton, Joel Hamlin, Jr., Shaquille Hunter all of Raleigh, NC, and Darien Banks of VA, Tommy William Robertson "TJ" (SiSi), Wake Forest, NC; Niece Nikita Hunter of Raleigh, NC.
