Jennie Victoria (Davis) Jefferson

JENNIE DAVIS LOTT JEFFERSON transitioned peacefully at home on June 26, 2024, at the age of 80. Jennie was the treasured wife of the late Herbert Jefferson for almost 50 years; beloved mother of Fred Lott, Jr, Tenika Jefferson, and Patrice Jefferson; proud grandmother of Gabriella Lott, Dominique Lott, Jonathan Jefferson, Sr, and Josiah Lott; and delighted great-grandmother of Jonathan Jefferson, Jr. She also leaves the following loved ones to cherish her memory: a devoted sister Marguerite Peebles (Dwight); brothers Louis Davis and Dennis Davis, Sr (Carol); and a host of relatives, church family, and friends.  

Funeral service at 11:00 AM Friday July 12, 2024 at St. Ambrose Episcopal Church, 813 Darby Street, Raleigh, NC preceded by a 10:30 AM visitation.  Interment will follow the service at Carolina Biblical Gardens.
