Mr. James E. Lewis, 91, departed this earthly life on Tuesday May 3, 2022. His funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM Friday, May 13, 2022 in the C A Haywood , Sr. Memorial Chapel, 2415 South Wilmington St. Raleigh, NC. A time of visitation is scheduled prior to the service beginning at 11:00 AM in the chapel. On Thursday, May 12, 2022, a public viewing will be held beginning at 2:00 PM. Then a "wake" is scheduled from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM in the evening at the funeral home.
James is survived by his daughters, Catherine Green and Debra Linger (Kenneth); sister, Mary Delores Council Burt (Anderson Burt, Jr.)
***Please Note: We are requesting that all in attendance wear a face covering or mask for the viewing, visitation, and service. Also know that 3 feet of social distancing is expected. We are limited to accept a total of 100 individuals per the State guidelines for any indoor services due to COVID. .... Thank you for understanding.
