Heaven Leigha Cesar of Raleigh, NC departed this earthly existence on Saturday May 23, 2026. Funeral service Sunday June 14, 2026 at 2:30 PM, Gethsemane Seventh-day Adventist Church, 2525 Sanderford Road, Raleigh, NC 27610. Visitation precedes the service beginning at 2:00 PM. Entombment will take place on Monday 10:00 AM at Carolina Biblical Gardens, June 15,1530 Creech Road, Garner, NC 27529.  Public viewing Friday June12, 2026 at Haywood Funeral Home from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Heaven was a beautiful, brilliant, thoughtful, fierce, organized, particular, precious child. She was loved as sister, best friend, princess, daughter, granddaughter, niece, cousin and star student. Her favorite text was Psalm 103. Even in this season of grappling with her untimely passing, we do as this Psalm commands, and as Heaven would have wanted us to: Bless the Lord--for her beautiful nine years and for the great hope we have in God of her soon resurrection!  Repast to follow the Memorial from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
