Grace Matthews Kearney, 88, of Raleigh, NC departed this earthly life on Wednesday October 11, 2023.  Funeral service Monday October 16, 2023 at 12:00 PM in the C A Haywood, Sr. Memorial Chapel, preceded by a10:00 AM family visitation.  The interment follows the service at Carolina Biblical Gardens, 1530 Creech Road, Garner, NC. Public viewing Sunday October 15, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Haywood Funeral Home, 2415 South Wilmington St., Raleigh, NC 27603.

Grace is survived by one son, Ronnie Kearney of Raleigh, NC; two daughters, Sharon Kearney of Durham, NC and Lori Kearney of Raleigh, NC; one brother, Charles Matthews of Durham, NC; three grandsons, Dion Brandon of Greensboro, NC, Chris Brandon of Creedmoore, NC, Josh Brandon of Mebane, NC; one great-grandson, Declan Brandon of San Antonio, TX, and two great-granddaughters, Rylie Brandon of Mebane, NC and Madison Brandon of Greensboro, NC., and a host of other family and friends.
