Gloria Lassiter

Gloria Lassiter, 87, departed this earthly existence on Saturday May 17, 2025.  

Her career serving students spanned over 30 years. Later in life, she found great joy in her role as a math and reading tutor. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Towanda Yancy of Arlington, TX; her granddaughters, Briana Bell of Wichita, KS, and Belicia Yancy of Foley, MO; her grandson, Brian Yancy of Arlington TX; and her great-grandson, Elijah Tyre Bell, Jr. of Wichita, KS.

A public viewing will be held Tuesday June 10, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Haywood Funeral Home, 2415 South Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC 27603.
