Mrs. Freddie Mae Williams, 96, passed peacefully in her home on November 3, 2022 surrounded by her son and care givers. Born on March 14, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Holland (Hines) Williams. She worked as a beautician for over 40 years and retired from North Carolina State University Housekeeping Department.
Freddie is survived by her daughter, Antha (Alfred) Edwards; son, Ronald Williams; granddaughter, Carla (Alvin) Smith; step grandchildren, Denise (Meredith) Gary, April (Robert) Green, Alfred Edwards, Jr and Mark Edwards; great granddaughter, Bria Edwards; step great grandchildren, Dionne (Allan) Bunn, Brandon Green, Robert Keith Green and Darius Gary; great great granddaughter, Amya Essel; step great great grandchildren, Brielle Green and Cam Bunn; niece, Rhonda White; nephews, Wayne Williams and Stanley Williams; grand nephew, Christopher White; a host of cousins, friends, and a special friend Mrs. Mary Williams.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Willie Williams; sisters, Doris Williams and Evelyn Powell.

Funeral Service to be held at 11:00 AM Friday November 18, 2022 at Martin Street Baptist Church. Visitation will begin at 10:30 AM. There is no viewing scheduled.
