Evelyntyne Humphrey Dempsey

Evelyntyne H. Dempsey departed this earthly life on Friday October 17, 2025.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Joseph P. Dempsey, and a son, Joseph Todd Dempsey. Evelyntyne leaves behind a daughter Denise Dempsey of Bowie, MD, son Eric of Sanford, NC, and daughter Kathy of Durham, NC, as well as a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and extended family members. Several especially close friends also remain to cherish her memory, Mrs. Mary Louise Pickett, Wayne and Gloria Johnson, Marga "Sister Johnson" Perry, Cynthia Smith, and Lisa Jackson.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday October 27, 2025 at Carolina Biblical Gardens, 1530 Creech Road, Garner, NC. 27529
