Mr. Esley Eugene Brooks, 66, departed this earthly life on Friday July 7, 2023.
Genie was preceded in death by his loving wife Maud of 34 years and his parents, Eugene and Elizabeth Brooks. He is survived by his step-son; Stevie Crowder, step-grandson; Stevie Jr,; 2 brothers, Billy Brooks (Jona) of Raleigh; Michael Brooks (Faye) of Stone Mountain, GA; 3 sisters; Betty Richardson (Paul), Carolyn Winters (Joseph), of Raleigh; Mary Brooks Green of Atlanta, GA,; a special birthday twin, Robin Champion; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial service at 11:30 AM Saturday July 15, 2003 at the C.A. Haywood, Sr. Memorial Chapel preceded by an 11:00 AM visitation.
