Deacon Donald Rand Gillis, Jr. departed this earthly life Friday April 17 at his home in Raleigh, NC.  Funeral service 11:00 AM Thursday April 30, 2026 at Abundant Life Cathedral Church of God in Christ, 4400 Old Poole Road, Raleigh, NC 27610.  There is no viewing at the funeral home on Wednesday evening.  A visitation and viewing with the family begins at 10:00 AM Thursday and continues until the 11:00 AM service. The interment will follow at Carolina Biblical Gardens, 1530 Creech Road in Garner, NC 27529.
