Deacon William Edward Sanders, Sr.

Deacon William Edward Sanders, Sr., 84, departed this earthly life on Thursday April, 25, 2024.  Funeral service at 12:30 PM Sunday May 5, 2024 at Saint Amanda Missionary Baptist Church, 457 Old Drug Store Road, Garner, NC preceded by a 12:00 Noon visitation. 

Deacon Sanders is survived by two sons, William Edward Sanders of Garner, NC; and Chris Jones of South Carolina.  He is also survived by four daughters, Gladystine Sanders Greene of Cary, NC; Larzell Sanders Downey of Raleigh, NC; Tonia Sanders Hargrove of Norlina, NC; and Latasha Renee Sanders of Garner, NC; four sisters, Peggy Sanders Tomlinson, Emma Sanders Cox of Clayton, NC; Minnie Sanders Williams and Ella Sanders Mitchell of Clayton, NC; two brothers Joe Sanders of Smithfield, and Ervin Sanders of Garner. 

On Saturday May 4, 2024, a public viewing will be held from 12:00 PM  to 5:00 PM at Haywood Funeral Home, 2415 South Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC 27603.
