Deacon Michael L. Douglas

Deacon Michael L. Douglas, 68, of Apex, NC departed this earthly existence on Sunday March 30, 2025.  Funeral service at 12:00 noon Tuesday April 8, 2025 at Oak City Baptist Church, 726 Method Road, Raleigh, NC preceded by an 11:00 AM visitation.  Interment will follow the service at Raleigh Memorial Park. 

Michael is survived by his wife Chiquita Fields Douglas of Apex, NC; three sisters, Annie L. Purcell of Greensboro, NC, Betty L. Derrickson of Red Springs, NC, Wanda S. Douglas of Red Springs, NC, a sister-in law Annette Douglas of Bronx, New York, and one aunt Glynell Monroe of Red Springs, NC. Others include a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
