Christie Louise Weldon Dobbin, 72, of Durham, NC departed this earthly life on Tuesday January 20, 2026.  Memorial service at 11:30 AM Friday February 13, 2026 at Macedonia New Life Church, 2004 Rock Quarry Road, Raleigh, NC, preceded by an 11:00 AM visitation.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Weldon (father) and Janie Louise Spencer Weldon) (mother); and siblings, Eugene Weldon (brother) and Henrietta Weldon Carr (sister).

She is survived by her siblings, James Weldon (brother), Hattie Evans (sister), Betty Weldon (sister), Sandra Weldon (sister), and Clifton Weldon (brother), and her children, Cedric Dobbin (son), Lakrystal Dobbin (daughter); grand children Morghan Dobbin, Greyson Dobbin, Ian Dobbin, and Alaiysia Evans, surviving spouse Glenward Dobbin - former, surviving siblings James Weldon (Hope), Hattie Evans (Sam-decd), Betty Weldon, and Sandra Weldon. Clifton Weldon (Sheryl) and a host of nieces, nephews, and great nieces. In -Laws
