Charles William Smith, Jr. of Raleigh, NC departed this earthly life on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at his home.  His funeral service will be held Friday, March 24, 2023.at 12:00 PM in the C A Haywood, Sr. Memorial Chapel, 2415 South Wilmington St., Raleigh, NC, 27603.  Visitation with the family in the chapel to begin at 10:00 AM prior to the service. The interment will follow at Carolina Biblical Gardens, 1530 Creech Road, Garner, NC 27529.
