Bobby accepted Christ at an early age and joined Watts Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. His faithful service did not go unnoticed, and he eventually became an ordained Deacon. Bobby was employed for over 30 years at Westinghouse. During his time at Westinghouse, he took several classes at NC State and became a big “Wolfpack Fan.”
Bobby was united in holy matrimony to his middle school sweetheart Janet Marie Hopkins. They were married for 63 years, and out of this union, they had four children.
