Anne Gertrude (Kettere) Mckoy

Mrs. Anne Gertrude McKoy, 83, formerly of Norfolk, VA departed this earthly life on Thursday June 4, 2020. 

Preceding her demise are her parents Huey and Gertrude Kettere; her husband, Herbert Mckoy, Jr.; son Barry Edgar Chavis; sisters, Dorothy Chavis, Dora Holloway,  Betty Jean Perry, and Elizabeth Snow; brother, Robert Kettere.

Cherishing her memories are her children, Harold C. Chavis, Quintion W. Chavis, Garciea (Rod) Mckoy, Priscilla P. Dunn, Wanda M. Chavis, Tressie M. Mckoy: grandchildren, Barry Carter, DeLawrence Chavis, Tymecko Bridges, Wardell Patterson, Tanisha Chavis, Cassandra Cassanova, Kimberly Chavis, Rodriguez Mckoy, Jr., Jacarlos Mckoy, Christina Scales, Tamila Daniel, Lamar Mckoy, Xavier Mckoy, Andrew Barnes, Andrea Barnes, Treyvonne Mckinnon, Chauncy Montague, Boaze Montague, Andreana Montague, Travion Stokes, Tuval Mckoy, Alesha Tuggle, Lial Mckoy, Damien Mckoy, Keirdre Terry, Deirdre Hankins and Daja Bailey.

Funeral services will begin at 12:00 noon on Friday June 12, 2020 in the C.A. Haywood, Sr. Memorial Chapel preceded by an 11:00 AM visitation.  A public walk through viewing will be held from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday June 11, 2020 at the funeral home.  The Interment will follow the Friday service at Carolina Biblical Gardens.
