Mrs. Anna Faye Johnson, 97, of Wendell, NC departed this earthly life on Sunday October 6, 2024.  Funeral service begins at 2:00 PM, Sunday October 13, 2024 at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church, 11912 Old Creedmoor Road, Raleigh, NC 27613.  A visitation precedes the service at 1:30 PM.  On Saturday October 12, 2024, the public viewing will be from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Haywood Funeral Home, 2415 South Wilmington  Street, Raleigh, NC.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by a son, Daniel E. Jenkins of Raleigh, NC; a daughter, Anna J. Miles of Raleigh, NC; a grandson, Randy Miles of Raleigh, NC, and a sister, Senora Woodard (Herbert) of Fuquay-Varina, NC.
