Al Thompson

Mr. Al Thompson, 88, of  519 Bragg Street Raleigh, NC , was called home peacefully January 18, 2025 at his family home. 

Surviving him is his wife Zola Thompson of Raleigh, NC; his son Anthony Thompson of Wake Forest, NC; his daughters Virginia Rowe of Fuquay-Varina, NC, and Delores Tabron of Raleigh, NC; sister Luna Mae ; brother Billy James Banks.  He also loved and was loved by Zola's extended family.  Having two families, Ai had a host of children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews that he adored.

Funeral service at 12:00 noon Saturday January 25, 2025 at the C.A. Haywood, Sr. Memorial Chapel preceded by an 11:00 AM visitation.  Interment will follow the service at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
