Mrs. Sandra Williams Baker, 80, of Raleigh, North Carolina departed this earthly life on Friday, February 15, 2019.

Survivors: husband, James Baker; children, Tanya Baker-Byrd, James M. Baker (Brenda), Sheriff Gerald Baker, and Pina Baker, Brother, Edward Ingram; grandchildren, Jawann M. Baker, Sr., Tandra L. Byrd, Shavonte' Baker Richardson (Eric), Paris J. Baker; great-grandchildren, Erynn S. Richardson, and Jawann M. Baker, Jr.; nephew, Frankie Lamont Singleton; special daughter Letrice V. Midgett (Terrell).

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at St. Matthew AME Church, 1629 Bennett Street, Raleigh, NC at 12:00 PM with visitation preceding the service at 11:00 AM. Interment takes place at Carolina Biblical Gardens, Garner NC. Public viewing will take place on Monday, February 18, 2019 at Haywood Funeral Home from 2-8 PM.
