Mrs. Lou-Venia Elizabeth 'Dollie" Mack of 2812 Enka Drive, Raleigh NC 27610, was born on September 9, 1934 to the late Henry and Alophere Dorsey in Nesmith, South Carolina. She was married to the late Willie Mack. She departed this earthly life on Sunday, August 4, 2019. Lou-Venia attended Battery Park High School in NeSmith, S.C. After moving to Raleigh at a young age, she attended Sacred Heart Catholic School. She has been a member of Smith Temple Free Will Baptist Church for many years. While there she was an active member of the Usher Board. She retired from the United States Postal Service as a maintenance technician. She leaves to mourn nine children, Mose Edward Dorsey (Charlotte), Ervin Lee Dorsey of Raleigh, Jesse Dorsey of Nesmith, S.C., Ruby Amagwula Powers (George) of Raleigh, Willie Fara "Rock" Mack (Amber) of Indian Lake, N.Y., Anthony Mack of Raleigh, Steven Mack of Panama City, Panama, Salathiel Mack (Diana Davis) and Beverly Mack (Sabrina) of Raleigh. She was preceded in death by her brother Rogersten Dorsey. She is survived by two brothers and one Sister. George Allen "Sonny Boy" Dorsey (Ethel Lee) of Nesmith, S.C., Mose Edward Dorsey (Charlotte) Raleigh and Barbara Dunn Of Petersburg, VA. She is survived by twenty two grandchildren She is also survived by a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Friday, August 9, 2019 at Smith Temple Free Will Baptist Church, 322 S. East Street, Raleigh, NC at 12:00 PM with visitation preceding the service at 11:00 AM. Interment takes place on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Carolina Biblical Gardens at 10:00 AM. Public viewing will take place at Haywood Funeral Home on Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 6-8 PM.
