Donna Godsey Obituary

Sgt. Donna Ray “Don” Godsey, 72, of Yanceyville, NC passed away Monday, July 29, 2019, at Duke University Hospital. Don was born April 7th 1947, in Danville Virginia. He served in the United States Army from 1965 to 1975, which sparked his love for traveling the country. He was a die hard UNC and Dallas Cowboys fan. Don also had a great passion for golf and played every chance he could.
Mr. Godsey is survived by his daughters, Lisa Durham, Cheryl Meyer and Tanya Nichols; sisters, Carrie Hyatt and Patricia Emory; brother Bobby Godsey; grandchildren, Andrew, Kristin, Brittany, Danielle and Haley and great grandchildren Cameron and Brayden.
Services will be held at the Raleigh National Cemetery on Monday, August 5th at 11am.
